Subject: headlight relay problem?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Tomorrow I hope to tackle and solve a problem so I can get my 82 diesel westy to pass texas state inspection.  the left hi-beam does not work, right does.  PO installed the headlight relay solution from the Vanagondotcom website, the one where no wires are cut.  these two relays, does one handle left and the other right headlamp or does one handle low and the other high beams?  the website instructions are written only, no diagram, and to me, cryptic.   hi-beam warning light is fed thru left headlight circuit and does indicate properly.  my first thought was burned out headlamp but I had three spares that all did the same thing (no hi-beam) when plugged into left socket.  First thing tomorrow is to plug the right bulb into the left socket and see if it does not come on in hi-beam.  if it doesn't, I have several runs of wire to check continuity but the answer to the above question will be essential after that.  Anyone know this upgrade in detail?   Thanks in advance,   Alan
