They're what I could find.  As I stated, we don't get many VW vans of any descripton in the junkyards around here so I grabbed the first ones I could find.  Fortunately, they are in decent shape and reasonably priced, but being EV seats they require this mod.
 
I'd have loved to find matching color/fabric Carat seats (or the like, with armrests) nearby but could not see that happening in the foreseeable future.

whats the benefit of eurovan seats over vanagon seats?  the only benefit i can see is they have a crank knob for adjustment...   ive sat in EV seats before, they didnt strike me as being any more comfortable than seats out of a late model GL or Carat vanagon..
