I am about to replace my fuel pump, which is making an awful racket.  My Bentley has info on page 20.16 for checking the rate, but nothing that I can see on replacing the pump.  Is there anything I should watch out for?  I have a new pump, but that is all.  Is there some compound that is used on the hose connections or anything like that?

Thanks for the info, Matt
