dear all quattro lovers

in december of 2007 my fiance and i were driving to her home in ohio to be married Vanagon diesel expired just outside boise idaho -- triple a to wagon works in garden city for R & R of OEM 1.6 Turbo engine with AA 1.9 Turbo

ok so that is all wonderful but what about us we had to be in ohio in 40 hours ... Phil provided us with a 1989 Quattro that he had sitting around the shop as a driver -- we set out in a strait line for ohio ... those on the list at that time might recall we drove from Garden city idaho to Pemberville Ohio in 30 hours --- through all sorts of winter weather --- some treacherous -- some benign -- alll sorts in between -- the Quatrro was a joy to drive -- and i mean an absolute joy ... comfortable-- fast -- sure footed -- the confidence i had in the ride amazed me -- i can only imagine how nice a vanagon would run with that chassis-- if engineered to work -- I may even begin a savings plan for one -- yours
