I probably saw Walter on TV yesterday. 2M folks watching the bike race, camping, dressed for Halloween, chasing racers on foot up the Mtn, & having a great time waiting 24 hours to see the racers go by in 5 minutes! Did see a number of Westies on the side of the road, but none that I recognized!

The only reason I was watching was to avoid pulling the engine out of my 65 westy again to put the right clutch cover in, instead of the wrong one I put in 2-3 engine pulls ago(this month!).

I like the bike race scenario where the parts guy drives right behind the racer w/ spare wheels, parts etc. to jump out & fix the bike if anything goes wrong-could be a great way to drive a vanagon?

YMMV,
