Hey Matthew, I'm sorry I just saw this after getting home from Wintergrass - we were pretty close to you this morning! We went over to Small Car to get a wiring harness conversion chart.

It sounds like you aren't charging - could be the regulator/brush assembly or the alternator itself. When you take the brush pack out you'll be able to tell right away - the brushes should be ~1/2" long. Bentley gives the wear limit as 5MM If they're teeny, just replace the brush pack - if the alternator is noisy too (bad bearings,) get a Bosch rebuilt.
