A couple ways to go: a product like Star Brite makes a product that cleans mildew from awnings made of either fabric or vinyl. The other is to go to a camping supply store that sells tents and they will have a variety of products. I use a damp sponge with some Camp Suds on it to do spot cleaning from the latch at the front and it works fine. I've used that same sponge on the awning underside after driving on dirt roads for several miles, to clean the dust/red dirt off the awning fabric and again, it works great. bob '87 Syncro Westy I need to clean the canvas - some dirt and maybe some mildew. It's the original material on an '86 Westy. How's the best way to do it?
