When I was staying in Houlton, Maine during winters, there was a grocery store that was exactly one mile from my house. There were 3 traffic lights and a 25 mph speed limit along that route. I could feel heat in my '85 Westy before I got to the store parking lot and I didn't warm up the engine for more than a minute before starting out. Granted, it wasn't as hot as it was going to get, but there was definitely warmth coming from both heaters. I haven't insulated my heater hoses ... but it's on my to do list (and has been for quite a long time). Mike |
