Hi Ellen, crawl under the driver's side and look up next to the spare tire clamshell. You'll see a black box with a speedometer cable going to it from the driver's front wheel and another speedometer cable going from it up to the speedometer head in the dash. Using a Phillips screwdriver or other suitable rod, push the reset button until it clicks and you'll be good for another 60,000 miles. The reset button is recessed so it won't stick right out at you ... it'll be in a hole. On my '85 it's on the front (front is front is front) side of the black box. Mike |
