Thanks much Scott. Ok, notch on nut = alignment mark. I thought it might be. (Bentley does refer to backing off this nut only 1/8 of a turn) It's such a nice straight mark, I also wondered if it wasn't made at the factory. Pics? Yes! I'm in the habit of taking pics as I like to throw together web pages. Even if only *one* other newb looks at them, and avoids making the same mistakes, that'd make me happy! :) Neil.
