Back in the 70's, I had a quart bottle of bulk MOS2 sold to me by a friend that bought like 5 Gallons of it. The deal was to add 1-2 oz. to your oil change for everlasting engine life. Not sure if the stuff would settle to the bottom of the crankcase or whether it bonded with the metal surfaces or not. Since we have all gone ga ga over synthetics, you don't hear much about MOS2 anymore , except maybe in CV joint grease. Wasn't the "cam paste" we used to assemble the old air cooled 1600's with pretty much just MOS2?

I've seen other LubriMOly products that autohausAZ.com sells and I think I have a can of the radiator flush from them that I haven't used yet. Prolly no Moly in there, huh?

Moly wouldn't happen to be a secret ingredient of the synthetics now, would it?

FWIW, I've been using Mobil one since about the 5k mark on the Boston Bob motor. 80k on it and still wonderful oil pressure.
