This is a very good point.
Some responsibility falls on the registered owner.
God forbid the kid or one of his friends ran over a pedestrian while in
Florida.
The lawyers would be knocking on your door taking the shirt off your back
within hours.

One less thing to worry about since you already said no.

  Let 'em get their own, just like i did.  It 's the only way to insure
total responsibility, and no bad feeling between family members when
something happens  Even an out-of-state parking ticket or a camera moving
violation or toll-runner offense will fall to the registered owner's
responsibility, ask me how I know.
