if you are using a 1.9 cooling system in your 85 vanagon, which you probably are, then you would order the Temp 2 sensor for an 85 with a 1.9 waterboxer engine.......assuming you have a 2.1 long block with 1.9 water pump and cooling system layout etc.

( it's possible to convert an 85 to a 2.1 cooling system, but a lot of parts are involved, not just on the engine, but on the van too ) Scott www.turbovans.com
