Oh here we go!! I agree MUST have Zinc for metal to metal. You dont have to but you will have issues. Delo 400 as well as Brad Pen oil is another with Zinc. There are many others out there just make sure they are what you need. Any ol oil will not do. I dont use synthetic in any of my VW except the Zetec in the westy. C-ya and have fun battling it out.
