damn, I fall short on a few of these ! there's no one to cook and bring me meals most of the time. Clean and dry ..........what about at least semi-warm ? just playing around, Hopefully the One Contemplating has a good idea of what they can take on and persist through. The worst that could happen is damaging the transmission not knowing what one is doing. or get it apart and the project just stalls out for a long time. And it could always get sent out to a rebuilder.........a simpathic rebuilder might not mind that it's half dissembled. Does Daryl work on automatics ? I suspect he does, but I not remembering many comments by him about vanagon automatics.
