One common reason for problems with the oil pressure alarm circuit is
having the wrong sender installed near the water pump (BTDT). If you
got a replacement from a dealer, it is probable that they gave you the
wrong one, because it is listed wrong on their info. You should have
the 0.9 bar sensor, not the 1.2 or 1.8 one. Check this first, then
address the flashing temp light which is probably unrelated.
