I've had bad luck with the FLAPS for Diesel Vanagon belts.
Better go Busdepot, or a VW specialized local shop.
(Every place I lived had at least one decent place, but
sometimes hard to find...)
Don't bother with an approximately sized belt for the water pump.
It is trouble enough to fiddle with the adjustment washers on
the pulley for the right belt. Anything just a little bit too
long or short just won't work; BTDT.
Alternator is more adjustable, so here an approximately right
belt can work.
