Ric, it's been a while, but I believe the LEDs and the blue bulb simply have their leads inserted into tiny sockets crimped to the instrument panel foil. Look at 90.6, 90.14 and 90.19, also 90.9 for the possibility that you may have to press the bulb into the bezel from behind. That may not be true for the '87... Main thing is be gentle with the foil. You can get to the indicator lights without removing the entire foil, just detach the plastic from behind the lights and carefully remove its prongs from the foil. LEDs are polarity sensitive, the bulb is not.
