All:

When I posted to the list that I was looking for someone to secure a Carfax report for a car that my son was thinking of buying, I was unaware that this is a violation of Carfax's terms of service. Unfortunately, a list member felt that it was not only their duty to let me know this, but it was also their duty to call my parenting into question for even posting this request. Not only that, the member also felt that if my teenage son didn't want to pony up the few dollars it takes to get a Carfax subscription that he would not maintain the car as necessary. A note telling me that I'd made this request in error would have been sufficient. My apologies to anyone whom I offended by my post.

Thanks to those (who shall be nameless for fear of reprisal) who honored my request and sent encouraging words about a teenage boy's first car purchase.

Karen
