And what part of the world might you be in? Do you get 'real winter' there? One man's "all-season tire" is another man's ice skate. (And you cannot go wrong with Nokian Hakkapeliittas.) See the tire reviews at <http://www.roadhaus.com> for other tried and true options.

I got my long studs from a Sway-A-way retailer in Florida. Expensive? Ya. Other options? Not that I found. 54 mm IIRC. I got the bolts from ezAccessory.com
