One of my first "jobs" was to rebuild the clutch housing on my '81.
The clutch operating lever was rubbing bad on the slave bracket.
Anyhow, I too found the clutch operating lever stuck real good. I cut
it off.

One or two thoughts regarding that part. Would a small Pittman arm
puller fit in there to remove it?

And....

I watched a mechanic "zap" one off using his impact wrench. With
clutch housing in hand, he held the wrench at an angle, and "frap frap
frap". Off it came. I have no idea if it was stuck "real good" though.
