I currently use Michelin Hydroedge tires on my New Beetle and am happy
with them.  They have a stiffer sidewall than the previous tires I
used, and they have a long tread life.  They are wearing very slowly.
I am happy with the handling and would use them, in little larger size
on 16'' wheels  on my Vanagon.
