Jeff, There are a few small screws that hold the horn ring to the steering wheel. These little guys loosen up and rub while turning the wheel. They will destroy the horn ring if not tightened up. Pull steering wheel to check and tighten. Worth a look. dylan

The van had power steering but the pump pucked so I've been driving it with the belt disconnected. What could be the possible causes. Seems to be it's a tell tale sign something is wearing out.
