Now that my transmission is out, and the starter is easily accessible, what maintenance might I do to it and associated parts to ensure it continues to function trouble free well into the future. I would hate to have to go back to this thing any time soon. Is there any preemptive work I can do if I want to add something later - like a lighting upgrade, or do something about those flimsy heater switches. Should I do something special about electrical power regards the starter - other than be sure the terminals are cleaned up really well? I'm open to suggestions here.
