ATB 97.201, the only brown connector is H, the six-contact one that connects the universe to J101. It has three wires, at the three outer corners -- the other three are empty (97.216, 146-151). So if that wire comes from the bottom (pin 6) of connector H, it should go to pin one of the fan thermoswitch. The 1.5 is probably a type -- all it's doing is driving the relay coil, 0.5 is plenty for that and would match the 0.5 ground wire for the same coil.
