What does the specification For clarity, a "Reinforced" or "Extra Load" passenger-car tire appears to fall between passenger-car load ranges B and C. As the load range increases, so does the inflation pressure for max load rating -- for standard (LR B) tires it's 35 psi, for RF or XL tires it's 42 psi, for LR C tires I believe it's 50 psi. Sources -- various, including Falken tire, Kumho tire, Continental tire, and US FMCVSS §571.139 Standard No. 139; New pneumatic radial tires for light vehicles.
