I am under the impression you are wanting to remove the steel chrome bumperson the early 87 rather than fiberglass bumpered late-87. The rubber strip onthe front bumper can be easily pried off with a small flat blade screwdriver or even strong fingernails applied under an edge. The trim is held inplace by a few snaps. Pull off. Press on. That is all there is to it. Onceyou've done that, the mounting bolts for the bumper should be in plain view. Cheers, BenT
