Thank you! That was the kind of response I was hoping for, information based on something, good or bad.

The tires are priced as a clearance item AFAIK, and that low price is not what they sold for originally by any means. I have decided to pass for now since the low speed rating worries me enough to negate the low price.

I have also learned that model of tire was involved in a recent recall though not for that size. I suspect the bad PR may play a roll in the pricing.
