Buddy of had a issue with a wasp nest in a weed eater exhaust. He pulled the rip cord for hours till I went over and watched what he was doing with the weed wacker. I sprayed a bit of start fluid in it and nothing so just before I was going to get the spark plug tool I noticed a blob of mud hanging out the 1/2" diameter exhaust tip. used a screw driver cleaned it out and the little motor ran like a champ. also for a dead cat you can knock out the center so it can breath or get a test pipe like I did. also If anyone needs a 2.1L cat Ive got a good used one and the inners are perfect. $50.00 shipped in the US and it is yours. >I've seen this before too...I had a Syncro that would just sputter start then die.

>Ben (of Montreal) and myself played around swapping pretty much every ignition component then he realized even though we had spark and fuel, the engine could not exhale. Engine gotta breath in order to run!

>After we pulled the Cat we could see it was plugged up with broken cat guts. Installed a new cat, van has been fine ever since.
