VW uses Stabilant at the factory to enhance conductivity in their
plug-in connectors.  The stuff even has a VW part number ( which I do
not know ).  I think its intended use is for low-current stuff such as
ECU connectors, etc.  Not sure whether it's as beneficial on something
like a headlight.
