Good point. I currently have a 1995 Chevy Winnebago conversion (camper) van riding on Uniroyal LT tires. This is one big van, gotta be as heavy if not heavier than a Westy. These Uniroyals don't look nearly as beefy as the Continental Vanco 8s I had on my '84 Westy. When I bought this Chevy back in December of '08 I drove it home from Columbia SC to northern Virginia. On the highway it handled horribly, kinda of like driving a powerboat as low speed, it wandered all over the road. I had a hard time even keeping it in one lane. When I got it home I checked the tire pressure. Door sticker said 35 lbs. all around. Each tire was at 25 or less. The tires didn't look low, and they were so new the blueing was still on the raised white letters. Anyway, with the correct pressure all the handling problems went away. It's a nice van, but damn I miss (sniff,sniff) that '84 Westy! But thats another story. Jeff
