Isn't that what the Dometic fridge is for? : )
I have my doubts that it would perform adequately in a desert for sure. So,
any reccomendations on a "GOOD" cooler? I planned to stick a Igloo "Cube"
behind the passangers seat, but i'm open to ideas of some miracle cooler
that has hit the market and i don't know about.
Furthermore, i understand the dry heat and dehydration thing. I'm glad to
hear it's so heavily reinforced. A misting bottle is a clever suggestion.
Thanks guys for the great input! Since i'll be in the Reno area, i'm told
the elevation will help quite a bit and it shouldn't be "as much" of a
concern. I plan to visit any list members that would like to meet up that
happen to be located in that area. So if your in that area, let me know!
Furthermore, I am now that much more confident that i probably won't die
just by taking my vanagon rather than a ford contour with reasonable AC. My
main concern is that i would have substantially less fun in the contour. I
plan to drive I80 from Ohio to Nevada, sleeping in walmart parking lots
along the way. If anyone lives particularly close to I80 in just about any
of the states it passes through, I'd be welcome to pay you a visit. : )
Thanks again!
