Craig- From the perspective of a current NV resident, what these people have told you is true. Blackbeard's AC has been out since before last summer. It's now starting to break into the 80's, and driving is already starting to get uncomfortable. Part of the problem of living in a blast furnace is that even when driving with the windows down and vents wide open at 70 MPH, the only difference is that the unbearably hot air is hitting you 70+ MPH faster than if you were standing still. :o) Bottom line: It just plain ain't no fun, no 2 ways about it. -- Drew, Las Vegas '90 GL "Blackbeard"
Some people have pointed out to me that my van > doesn't have AC and claim i should bring along a gallon of water and a shot > gun, to kill myself soon after entering the area. |
