The stock is a >nylon/styrene type of plastic, so I suspect it would do well on the grille. That's amazing stuff. Expensive, unfortunately, and short shelf life. It's a polyurethane, and it expands and foams slightly when it cures, and cures tough. Very difficult to remove cured excess, I believe. Should adhere well to the grill material. I'd expect it to be at least as good as Goop, likely better. Either one should make a tough, flexible repair, though I still question whether there's enough surface area to give sufficient tensile strength to resist stones and such. Given how brittle the grills have gotten over time, that may be a moot point.
