check out the Samba forums.
Dogpilot has scanned in many of the VW FI manual pages for all to enjoy.
These spiral bound manuals were dealer literature.
I picked them up on eBay in the past for very low prices, but they seem to have dried up.

Yup, ya gotta have the green Bentley bible for sure, but ya gotta have
