Scott, it's a male plug connected to a female plug, with one of the wires between left open so you can put an ammeter in series with the circuit. So if you have some extra wiring lying around you can make one. If you need to fake it, take care not to insert anything thicker than the male terminal blade into the female connector; you don't want to spring it.
