I have a Bosch table saw that I paid dear money for - works well.  Saw the *same* table saw at Canadian Tire with their Mastercraft logo on it for about half the price... yeah made me feel good!

Really I find the Mastercraft line of tools from Canadian tire quite good.  I have a 4" angle grinder that I paid like $30 for on special - perfect - I use it ALL the time to clean up welds and other delicate stuff.  The slightly larger DeWalt that I have is never used - just to heavy.  I think I bought my $30 Mastercarft grinder around 2000... starting to make some weird noises on start up and shut down - I think they are on special this week at Canadian Tire... go buy another.  No worries here.

Most of my tools are from Canadian Tire - all sockets come from there as well as my screw drivers - lifetime warranty that I have used many times.  Try that with Craftsman or SnapOn or any of the other big name stuff.  Canadian Tire looks at it and goes wow... broken... and they hand you another one.  SnapOn... here comes the song and dance about how you abused it or some other way they weasle out of the warranty.  Canadian Tire makes good tools at reasonable prices and when there is a warranty claim there is never an issue.
