i think that smapon greatly depends on the dealer. i broke a 3/4 drive break over bar by driving a small dozer on it while trying to remove the rusted on lug nuts on a school bus. when my snapon guy came by i told him exactly what i had done and he laughed and gave me a new one.

i've also never had a problem returning a craftsman tool at sears. i must admit that both my snapon and craftsman experiences were decades ago so things may have changed.
