the passenger side hs two different mirrors available too, the one with the writing on it is $200+

The black plastic ring that mates to the white motorized housing is attached to the back of the mirror along with the heating element. The least expensive way to get a mirror in there is by locating a broken or mirror with silvering coming off then have a glass shop cut a piece of mirror to fit. For me it was cheaper to buy the mirror used from a local parts guy for $100 then sell my housing on Ebay where it fetched upwards of $50. There's always someone who broke their housing and still have their glass intact. You are already doing the right thing by posting on the List. Perhaps one of those folks with a broken housing might sell you their mirror or offer to buy your housing. Cheers, BenT Ps. Pmail me if you need assistance getting the whole assembly.
