Subject: Updated Tail Lamps
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Since I am so pleased with the GoWesty high power Headlights I wanted to upgrade the weak tail lights of my 1989 Westy. I found a complete set of tail lamps and the front parking lamps at http://community-2.webtv.net/VanStuff/VanagonWestfalia/

I have to say, before this I really didn't realize how seemingly unsafe night driving can be with those teeny tiny tail lights, the running light was only 5 watts, the same as a Christmas tree light .... The replacement lamp is 40 watts and the others are 50 watts, what a big difference. I no longer do much night driving but if I do at least now I'll feel safer.

Well, now with the bright GoWesty Head Lamps and this upgrade, all thats left on the outside is to find and install a THIRD Tail lamp .... those made for motor cycles look good then next is to do a neat installation of the PIAA clear fog lamps once seen at the auto parts store.

Hope this helps ...... Bill89Westy23
