Hey Ryan. Assuming the "guide Pin" is what i think it is.... Go to any FLAPS (I used Autozone) and get a hardware set. It includes those pad retaining clips, noise backing plates, and BRAND NEW guide pins. Take the caliper off the car completely. You will need to anyway if your going to rebuild it. Now take a small punch and punch it through from one side. If you have to, cut it in half (assuming you have a replacement already). For the caliper you're going to need to compress the piston using a C-clamp to put the new dust boot on.
