Subject: Window Rust-Not ready to paint
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I have a small amount of rust in the PS side lower widow seal. About 3 small spots to amount to total size=dime. I have a little clear coat in the immediate area that is flaking and van is white. I don't see any rust interior behind dash. I would like to pull the windshield and treat, but not paint yet as I cannot afford to do the whole van and need to repair some trim first. What can I do to treat/repair immediate prob and wait for paint. No leaks at all. Can I put an oversized rubber windshield trim in to 'cover' the repair until paitning and OEM trim replaced? thanks.
