RE: Where are the most Westies? Try any neighborhood in Seattle but especially the North End, Ballard, Roosevelt, Wallingford and NE of the U District. One big reason: Carter VW in Ballard is supposed to have sold more VW Westaflia conversions that any other dealer in the US. Add to that the ASI (Riviera) conversion were done in Vancouver, WA for Riviera VW near Portland. Another hot bed is around the Bay area in California. And then just south of there around Santa Cruz. Stand on the sidewalk outside Van-Cafe in Santa Cruz like I did one day and one Vanagon or Westy cruises by every 30 seconds or so. |
