Hi all. Getting closer to having my front end/brakes together. So.... In reading up on front brake pads in the archives, PBR or VW dealership pads are two of my top choices so far. Though different than the PBR (Metal Master?) pads discussed in the archives, my vendor has: PBR Deluxe Plus Organic and ATE "old German stock.... with an Asbestos warning" (vendor quote). He mentioned the ATE pads were not expensive. Anyone used these PBR pads? If so, whaddaya think of them? Could the ATE "old German stock" be the same as what VW dealerships used to sell? I know to look for an Audi stamp. If they had this, would this mean they're the same? Comments much appreciated! Neil.
