Insurance isn't a problem (depending on company), but financing will definitely be an issue since the VIN will come up as invalid in their system. Those 3 Z's will get you every time.... If it's a smaller institution (local bank or credit union), you may be able to make a case for financing if it was legally imported and you have all the documentation to prove it (a title and registration is not proof).
