I am running a mix of components right now on my '85. To my knowledge the only difference is the throttle position switch setup. On some '85's it's a single switch (similar to the '86+) and others/all pre '85 it's a dual switch setup. However, they do exactly the same thing and can be wired to work the same. I also have a 2.1 intake plenum. Everything pretty much matches up. The injectors, AFM, distributor, and ECU are all the same between all digijet models in the US (To my knowledge). Just plug it in and go.
