Regarding the Dremel,

I'm installing the UB12220 Universal 12V 22ah batteries (4) in the aux box under the driver seat. I prep for this I removed the steel flange from inside the box that holds the bolt that secures the battery. I used a carbon cutting disc on my Dremel to cut most way through the flange, then used pliers to leverage it off the rest of the way. Very surprised at how the Dremel cut through this thick steel (1/8"?) as long as I went slowly, not asking the Dremel to be an industrial cutting tool. I'm going to also use this to cut out notches on the aluminum angle metal to connect the battery terminals (as seen on Karl Mullendore's Westyventures.com site).

Having removed/replaced all the external identification decals on my van with the 3M rubber "tool" attachment for my drill, as David has said (if I understood him correctly), I can't imagine the Dremel being used for such a large surface project and such a large tool.
