As it has been said, they need to be on the correct side of the van. If they are reversed, I think they become automatic "de-adjusters" doing the opposite of what is needed. Also having been stated, the correct lube. I use disc/drum brake wheel bearing grease. If you have someone gently press the brake pedal to watch, make sure they go easy so you don't push the pistons clear out of the cylinders.
