After driving my BB Kit van for the last couple years and that of another lister with them both front and rear, there is NO comparison IMNSHO. ;-) I still have OE rears. Easy to noitice the huge improvement when I first drove mine after installation. The other van I drove is described by its owner as more of an RV than VW van due to all the upgrades and mods, subsequently how heavy it is. I've never driven a vanagon that had such "normal-car" feel to the brakes. High pedal brake-engagement, easy stopping response, balanced stopping, no nose-diving. Admittedly he wasn't crazy about the emergency brake marginal usefulness. He had an early iteration ('87 Jetta, I think) that were what was being used at the time. Bob Stevens '87 Syncro Westy .... thinking seriously about Raimund's rears for my rig. |
