Thanks You have to get (or build, if you're a die-hard -- it's just four biggish diodes) a harness with a convertor box that takes the separate feeds for brake and turn signal and sends them to the trailer combined; or else put separate turn signals on the trailer and use a 5-pole connector. The harnesses are available at any U-Haul that does trailer stuff (maybe all of them), Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, probably most FLAPS, and any trailer-specific place. Cost under $20. It should come with 3M-type tap splices (actual 3M if you're lucky). The feeds are accessible near the left tail light, just before where the harness splits to feed L and R taillights. It's a loose plastic sheathing; slit it carefully lengthwise in the middle, far enough to work with the wires. Verify correct wires with a pin and test-light or meter before you splice to them. If the harness tells you to ground to the chassis (hence not providing a splice for ground), the taillight grounds run to a bolt just beneath the ignition coil. The schematics are on 97.112 ff, tracks 102 and 106 for the running lights; 121 through 127 for the brake and turn. The key is on 97.4-5 if you're not used to Bentley schematics.
